MultiTF TrendTrader V5
Advanced Multiple Timeframe Trend Following Bot
Align with the macro trend. Enter with micro precision. Manage with institutional logic.
Introducing MultiTF TrendTrader V5, a highly sophisticated Expert Advisor designed to capture sustained market moves by combining higher timeframe trend analysis with lower timeframe momentum entries. Unlike basic bots that chase every signal, V5 demands strict structural alignment before risking capital, ensuring you only trade when the odds are heavily in your favor.
Equipped with a native economic calendar, advanced post entry trade management, and a unique live diagnostic panel, this bot is built for traders who demand transparency, precision, and capital preservation.
The Core Strategy: How It Works
V5 operates on a top down analytical approach, filtering out noise by requiring agreement across multiple timeframes.
- Higher Timeframe Trend Alignment (H4): The bot first establishes the macro direction using a 50 and 200 Exponential Moving Average stack. To prevent false signals, it requires three consecutive H4 bars where the fast EMA, slow EMA, and price action all align in the same direction.
- Daily Pivot Proximity (D1): The bot calculates daily pivot points to identify institutional support and resistance. It can be configured to only take buy trades near support and sell trades near resistance, ensuring you are entering at logical structural levels.
- Lower Timeframe Execution (M15): Once the macro trend and structural levels align, the bot drops to the 15 minute chart. It uses the Relative Strength Index to wait for momentum recoveries. For example, it will only buy when the RSI recovers upward from the oversold zone, confirming that short term pullbacks have finished and the main trend is resuming.
Institutional Trade Management & Risk Control
V5 features a comprehensive suite of tools to protect your capital and maximize winning runs:
- Dynamic Position Sizing: Risks a strict percentage of your account balance per trade. The lot size is automatically calculated based on the exact distance to the stop loss.
- Automated Break Even: Once the trade reaches a defined profit threshold, the stop loss is automatically moved to the entry price plus a small buffer, creating a risk free trade.
- Partial Profit Taking: At a specific profit target, the bot automatically closes a percentage of the position, securing real money and paying for the trade while leaving the rest to run.
- Dynamic Trailing Stop: The remaining position is trailed by a fixed step distance, locking in profits as the trend continues without getting stopped out by minor pullbacks.
Built In High Impact News Filter & Time Windows
Volatility spikes and spread widening during economic releases can destroy technical setups. V5 features a native economic calendar integration that automatically pauses new entries 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after high impact news events. It can also be configured to automatically close open positions before major releases.
Additionally, V5 includes Custom Trading Hours. You can restrict the bot to only open new trades during specific, highly liquid time windows, while still allowing it to manage and trail existing open positions outside of those hours.
The "Why Didn't I Trade?" Diagnostic Panel
Transparency is key. V5 features a live, on chart diagnostic dashboard that tells you exactly what the bot is thinking in real time. It displays the current higher timeframe trend, the lower timeframe signal, spread conditions, and news status. Most importantly, it features a "Why Didn't I Trade?" log, which explicitly states the exact reason an entry was blocked (e.g., "Spread too high", "HTF trend is UP but RSI signal is SELL", or "News filter active").
Disclaimer
Trading foreign exchange and commodities (especially Gold/XAUUSD) on margin carries a high level of risk and may not be suitable for all investors. Past performance of the EA or backtested results does not guarantee future results. The high degree of leverage can work against you as well as for you. Before deciding to trade, you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite. There is a possibility that you may sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment.
